Privacy Policy
Overview
Ussie.ai does not require registration or login and does not collect a name or Apple sign-in identity. An email address is stored only if you choose the optional newsletter and confirm its verification code. An anonymous installation identifier and a protected StoreKit purchase identifier operate purchases, credits, abuse prevention, and cloud features.
Camera and photos
Camera access is used for taking photos. Photo library access is used only when you import an image, save an image, or enable automatic saving of original photos.
Microphone
Microphone access is optional and is used only for the voice shutter. Voice input is handled for that capture command. You can turn the voice shutter off in Settings or revoke microphone permission in iOS Settings.
Network usage
Ussie.ai uses network connections for anonymous session setup, credit balance, purchases, AI generation requests, result delivery, advertising, and optional analytics. Subscription and credit balances are shared across devices using the same App Store Apple Account. Photos, results, history, notifications, and drafts remain isolated to the installation and are not shared across devices. Communications use HTTPS where Ussie.ai controls the connection.
Third-party services
Ussie.ai uses Apple StoreKit for purchase verification and third-party services for optional product analytics, crash reporting, and advertising. Content is shared with other platforms only when you request it.
Optional Email Newsletter
Your email is used only for the optional Ussie newsletter after you confirm the verification code. Registration, purchases, or entering an email alone do not constitute marketing consent. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email.
Data security
Reset Local Data removes that installation and its usage data without deleting the shared subscription or credit wallet. Delete All Ussie Data deletes the shared wallet and all associated installations and usage data; an App Store subscription is not automatically cancelled. Minimal HMAC purchase, transaction, subscription-period, and DeviceCheck records may be retained only to prevent duplicate grants, process payments, and combat fraud.
Policy updates and children
Ussie.ai is designed to be suitable for users of all ages. AI generation is restricted to prevent nudity, weapons, blood or gore, and other unsafe content. If this privacy policy changes, the updated text will be published on this page with the app update.
Optional reward links
During optional promotions, the operations team may record a supplied Instagram username and associate it with the anonymous Ussie wallet UUID that claims the reward. The username is an operator-provided label, not Instagram identity verification. The associated claim record is deleted when the wallet is deleted.
